NASA Are Going To Make Another Huge Mars Announcement

On Thursday, at 2pm EST (7pm GMT), America’s space agency is set to reveal “key science findings” regarding the atmosphere of the Red Planet at the James Webb Auditorium at NASA Headquarters in Washington, D.C.

The announcement will be broadcast live on NASA TV,  And will feature the likes of Michael Meyer, lead scientist for the Mars Exploration Program at NASA; Bruce Jakosky, MAVEN principal investigator and Jasper Halekas, MAVEN Solar Wind Ion Analyzer instrument lead, among others.

The announcement will document the first major findings from the MAVEN spacecraft since launching into orbit in September 2014 with a goal of studying how the Red Planet has lost most of its atmosphere over the last few billion years.

Aliens, oxygen, Matt Damon? We can’t wait to find out what they’ve got to say.
